Lies
in a vast gulf, Garda is one of the most well known localites for holiday makers
of Garda Lake. As with other centres in the Garda area, this city also offers
precious signs of its medieval and renaissance past. One of the most impressive
is the old Palazzo del Capitano della Serenissima in gothic-venetian style. There
is a mixture between historical and artistic beauties and natural beauties. Punta
San Vigilio must be seen without fail; it can be easily reached by a path that
has been laid out by the WWF. From here it is possible to enjoy one of the most
wonderful view points of the lake. At a couple of kilometres from Garda Lake,
it is also possible to visit the Tower of Benaco, charming lacustrine city dominated
