Domus Mercatorum

The Domus Mer-catorum, with a fine arcade and double lancet windows, was built at the behest of Alberto 1 Della Scala in 1301. The building, once intended as a headquar-ters for the guilds, had part of its primitive Romanesque-Gothic structure altered owing to nineteenth century modifications.
