Fountain of Madonna Verona

The Fountain of Madonna Verona is a water-basin executed in 1368 by Giovanni Rigino using in part a thermal basin: at the centre stands a statue of the Roman age found among the ruins of the ancient Capitolium and representing a girl.In her hands she holds the communal motto "Est iusti latrix urbs haec et laudus amatrix".
