Palazzo del Comune

Palazzo del Comune: built in the 12th century, it reveals, on the side which juts out over Piazza delle Erbe, a neoclassical superstructure.This building contains a noteworthy courtyard - the Old Market ? embellished with threemullioned windows and a marble staircase. it is flanked by two towers, one of which is the Torre dei Lamberti which is 84 metres tall and soars above the other city towers.
